My brother has set up a new startup called SwisticMing.com, an independent London guide for what’s on in London and going out in London, including night clubs, pubs and bars, gigs and tickets, arts and literary events, film listings for indie cinemas, different and unusual things to do in London and free things in London. The site is soon to be relaunched with a brand new membership scheme available to all users, allowing members access to discounts and offers across a network of London venues and events.

Just upgraded to WordPress 2.7 and I’m impressed. A new, clean and fast interface with extensive AJAX and even Google Gears integration. Yummy!
(0)I’m now working as a product manager for a start-up: aQovia, your fast-to-market SaaS partner.
(0)I’m not sure how long Offer of the Day has been around but I’ve recently discovered it and believe it’s the price comparison site worth bothering with for most purchases.
Unlike its competitors this one takes into account any current offers (even telling you what discount code to type in!) and gives you a sorted list by overall cost (including delivery). Coverage of retailers is not as extensive as, say, Google, Kelkoo or Pricerunner but it covers the main online discounters. Unless you are making a really expensive purchase I wouldn’t bother spending much time trying to beat it.
